At Home and Décor PH, we believe that a beautiful home starts with a foundation of hope. While we spend our days curating framed wall art for your spaces, our hearts are always connected to the place where our own story began.
Home and Décor PH didn't start in an office or a studio - it started on the playground. We are Lal and Dee, childhood best friends who grew up side-by-side in humble circumstances. We didn't have much, but we had two things that changed our lives: each other’s friendship and families who believed that education was our only way out of poverty.
Today, we run Home and Décor PH together as an online store supported by our incredible Interior Designer partners, families, and valued customers.
Though our work now keeps us far from home, we have never forgotten where we started. Every year since 2023, we personally fund annual school supply drives for first graders in Altavas, Aklan. With the dedicated help of Lal’s family, who personally distribute these kits on our behalf, we aim to give these children the same "spark" our families gave us - the belief that with a pen, a notebook, and a dream, anything is possible.

Personally funded by Lal & Dee and hand-delivered by Lal's family in Altavas, Aklan. While we manage Home and Décor PH from afar, Lal’s family, led by the indispensable Mary, acts as our hands and feet on the ground, ensuring these kits reach the first graders who need them most.
What's inside every kit:
Beyond the frames we build, we are building futures. Every school year since 2023, we personally curate these kits for first graders in Altavas, Aklan. From sturdy backpacks to the pencils, crayons, and paper they need to start their journey, we believe in giving every child the tools to write their own success story.

The Journey Since 2023:
2023: Lumaynay Elementary School (Sangeay Annex), Talon Integrated School and Tibiao Elementary School.
2024: Dina-ut Elementary School, Linayasan Elementary School and Talon Integrated School.
2025: Dalipdip Elementary School, Quinasay-an Elementary School and Lumaynay Elementary School (Sangeay Annex).

2023: Next stop for the Home and Decor PH family - Talon Integrated School.
Seeing them get so excited about their new bags really shows why we do this. A big shoutout to Ma'am Juliet Vera-Valerio. We really appreciate you opening your doors and helping us get these school supplies to the kids.
2023: Tibiao Elementary School
Seeing these kids so proud of their new bags is the best feeling. A huge thanks to Sir Hector Sulbod, Sir Francis Famoso and all the wonderful teachers at Tibiao Elementary School. Your dedication to these kids is so inspiring.
2024: Dina-ut Elementary School
A big shoutout to Dina-ut Elementary School teachers for having us. We loved seeing the kids' faces as they got their school supply kits.
2024: So heart-warming to give back to our Alma Mater, Linayasan Elementary School even if we weren't there in person.
Seeing the kids' faces light up with their school supply kit really makes our hearts full.
2025: So glad the Home and Decor PH could visit Dalipdip Elementary School. We are so grateful to the the school's wonderful teaching staff for making our very first visit such a success.
We are glad we could help these kids start the school year on a high note.
2025: So happy to visit Quinasay-an Elementary School for the first time. We are truly honored to receive this Certificate of Appreciation - it's moments like these that make this donation drive so rewarding!

Looking Forward: Our 2026 Vision
Building on the "Playground to Partners" spirit, we are already preparing for our 2026 donation drive. Our goal is to deepen our support for the teaching staff and ensure even more students in Altavas, Aklan have the supplies they need to succeed. We can't wait to see those smiles again this year!
